Digital Millennium Copyright Act Notice
TranscriptKit respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using our service.
Notice of Infringement
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement through our service, please provide our Copyright Agent with the following information:
- An electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest
- A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed
- A description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on our service
- Your address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf
Counter-Notice
If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice with our Copyright Agent containing the following information:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the content that has been removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification
Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, TranscriptKit has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also limit access to our service and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others.
Important Notice
TranscriptKit is a transcription service that processes publicly available video content. We do not host, store, or distribute video content. We only generate text transcripts from videos that users provide URLs for. Users are responsible for ensuring they have the right to transcribe the content they submit.

Misrepresentations
Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing, or that material or activity was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be subject to liability.
